King Duncan's kingdom. Duncan is the king of Scotland. In this play, three witches
make a mantic about Macbeth. They mentioned that:
- Macbeth will be the head of Cawdor (a
province of the king)
- Then he will be the king of Scotland.
No
man who has born from a woman can kill him until he reaches the mountain named
‘Dunsinan'.
Mentioning these mantic, those three witches
disappeared. After some days, the king makes Macbeth the head of ‘Cowdor’ and
thus the first mantic of those witches come true. Macbeth starts believing that
the rest of those mantic will also come true. He shared his thoughts and the story
of mantic with his wife Lady Macbeth. Lady Macbeth is known as the fourth witch
of this play. After knowing these mantic, Lady Macbeth can't depend on her
husband's uncertainty and can’t resist herself from seeing her husband like a
king immediately. So, she manipulated Macbeth to kill the king. Macbeth's sense
was flushed by his greed and he makes a plan to kill the king. He invites the
king in his palace named “Inverness” for one night. The king accepted the
invitation and comes there. Then Macbeth murdered the old king with a dagger. But a nobleman
named “Macduff” had seen this, unfortunately. Prince “Malcolm” and other people
of the king fled away. After this, Macbeth becomes the king of Scotland but he becomes
insecure about his throne and starts killing people. He was fighting with his
own mind because of guilt. Situation dragged Lady Macbeth to commit suicide. On
the other hand, Macduff finds Malcolm and they start preparing an army against Macbeth.
After rolling many wheels of the phenomenon, Macbeth's fortune pulls him towards
the ‘Dunsinan’ mountain and he was killed by Macduff. After the death of
Macbeth, Malcolm becomes the king of Scotland.
